Armenia: An Open Wound

SUMMARY:

This documentary features the testimony of Sarkis Sahinian, an Armenian who has been struggling for many years to gain recognition for the genocide perpetrated against his people in 1915. One and a half million Armenians were deported or slain by the "Young Turks" regime, though political authorities in Ankara continue to deny it. This stubbornness has created an obsessive thirst for justice and truth in many of the descendants of the genocide victims.
